About Us

Our goal is to provide a high quality service whilst being cost effective on both labour and parts. Sterile Solutions is run and operated by skilled directors who are hands on engineers and take extreme care when managing all aspects of equipment breakdown and repairs.


We understand the high pace environment of sterile service departments and work around you and your team to deliver the best outcomes.


Sterile Solutions has been founded by Aidan Kersley and James Henderson who together have substantial experience in the industry to meet our client’s maintenance demands and ensure everything stays compliant. Below is a brief breakdown of each engineer’s experience and work history.


We believe in creating a business which has customer satisfaction at its core and integrates strong work ethics in everything we do. We feel that good business practices are necessary for success and hopes to accomplish excellence in engineering within Sterile Solutions ltd.


We have been deemed competent in the servicing of Getinge equipment through the Getinge Academy. 


We are also deemed competent in the servicing of MELAG equipment from MELAG NZ.

Aidan Kersley

Aidan Kersley started his career in the medical industry 18 years’ ago and has built up a wealth of knowledge on a range of medical devices. Aidan is a Registered Electrician and shortly after completing his apprenticeship started his training/career with a global medical company as a Field Technician, then progressed over this period to Validation Technician, Service Manager, Technical Manager and Project Manager. Aidan has had specialist training overseas for sterile services equipment.


One of Aidan’s passions is fixing things, whether its his race cars or restoring pinball machines, there is always something on the ‘to-do’ list. He is a keen squash player among other sports and likes to keep fit. He enjoys spending time with his young family and has a lifestyle block with cows, dogs and a cat.

James Henderson

James Henderson started his career as an Electrician and has been in the medical industry for 16 years, James’s experience ranges from being a Field Technician to an Executive Manager at a private surgical hospital where his role was Property and Services Manager. James is also a Registered Electrician, qualified CSSD Technician and the Director of NZ Validation Services which has been operating since 2019.


James’s has a passion for renewable energy and the outdoors. He spends his spare time creating and fixing electrical and mechanical equipment in his home workshop, or planting native trees on his property. James loves spending time with his kids and getting them involved at every turn. Jack is only 4 years old and is happy to help dad change a spark plug and oil in the rotary hoe.

Richard Norgrove

Richard who is a Electrical Engineer comes from a background of industrial equipment and automation. His highlights include working on ATMs for two major banks and developing intelligent machine vision systems for an international food processing company.


Richard prefers to spend his time in the field rather than behind a desk working out problems and getting things running the way they should, Richard is a natural tinkerer and a self-confessed geek. He’s been known to play on stray pianos and teach dance classes, and likes to get outdoors or on the water during weekends.
